The Grajower Fund Grant for Studies in Jewish life in
Poland
The Grajower Family worldwide is proud to announce a grant
for studies of Jewish life in Poland. Our goal is to preserve
the legacy of Jewish people such as the Grajower Family
from Grajewo and the Cracow region, and to keep their
memory alive for future generations.
The Grant
The grant will be awarded for the best theses written
by graduate students dealing with Jewish life in Poland
between the years 1700-1939. This research may include,
but is not limited to, studies in history, culture, the
arts and religion.
Criteria for selection will be a combination of merit
and need, at the discretion of the Fund.
Procedures for Application
The application for the award consists of the following:
1) Submission of a graduate research paper written for
Master degree, dealing with above;
2) A one-page statement of interest in Polish Jewry;
3) A short letter of recommendation from the instructor
for whom the paper was written.
Amount of Grant: uniform and no less than $1000
Dead Line: August 30th 2005
